Here are some things you should do before signing off on 2018
1. Celebrate your successes
And to acknowledge your mistakes. What did you learn, what did you love? What are you going to do more of in 2018?
Reflect on 2017 and plan your goals – business and personal. While they should be SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time bound, don’t be afraid to set a really ambitious one too! You don’t know til you try.
2. Review your products and services
What has worked, what hasn’t? What needs to be deleted or added? What needs to be repackaged or recreated? Sometimes more is less. Look through your data to see the most profitable and popular items. What have your customers been asking you for?
3. Launch New Prices
The New Year is a great time to put up your prices. Have you noticed everything else has gone up? Your new years marketing to customers are a great time to introduce your new schedules.
4. Create more efficient processes
Look at what takes too long and costs to much in the way you service your customers. What can be more efficient through eliminating steps or adopting technology?
Your business is part of the community and there are many ways you can make a difference over the festive season – time, money, and kindness.
6. Take a break
Schedule time off and stick to it. Organise activities with the kids, your friends or some alone time. It is important to switch off but don’t disappear altogether. Use scheduling to keep social media ticking over. Take the opportunity to read and learn.
